Biography
Aubréy Deloney is an R&B and funk artist based in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Born in Oakland, California, Aubréy was raised in the small country towns of Wilton and Ashdown in Arkansas. Aubréy’s music is heavily influenced by the sounds of Prince and the Revolution, Morris Day & The Time, Kool and The Gang, Rick James, Ready For The World, and Keith Sweat.
Aubréy started writing poetry in high school and later began writing song lyrics. His writing serves as a way for him to express his innermost thoughts and emotions. He is driven to create songs that evoke feelings of melodic eroticism and romanticism, often touching on themes of ecstasy and erotic stories.
Aubréy’s music is created in an exciting way, as he often finds inspiration in his dreams. He wakes up with lyrics and melodies already in his head, and he quickly writes them down and begins humming the melody. Aubréy collaborates with his current producer, Kevon “Griff” Griffon, who is also interested in forming a band with Aubréy to perform his songs.
Aubréy has released two singles so far, “I Love” and “Aroma Pugent Funk”. Both songs were written by Aubréy himself, with “Aroma Pugent Funk” being produced by Aubréy as the executive producer and Griff as co-producer. There are no notable collaborations yet, but with his unique sound and writing style, Aubréy will surely attract the attention of other artists and labels in the future.
Aubréy’s ultimate goal is to have all his song lyrics put to music and to earn money from selling his music. With his passion for music and unique writing style, Aubréy Deloney is poised to make a name for himself in the R&B and funk music scene.
